NYC-a place unlike no other. Living in the city one is exposed to things you jut could not see otherwise. Halo Air located in Chelsea just so happens to be one of those places. "Salt Rooms" is what Halo Air has to offer. Yes, rooms made out of salt imported from European salt mines 300 meters underground. The deal is you go to Halo Air, get changed into a robe (think spa), and sit inside these rooms made entirely of salt for an hour and supposedly it clears respiratory paths, rids illnesses like colds and flu, and eliminates acne. Also, they're supposed to de-stress and add to your overall well being. There's adult single rooms, double rooms, a family room, and a children's room. Of course their private sessions and you can read, watch a movie, basically do whatever for the hour. Blah, blah, blah. The concept is pretty cool and I must admit that I did purchase two sessions through Gilt.
