GUCCI 3-D GLASSES

Seeing as how every new movie opening is in 3D it's only fitting that Gucci is releasing a pair of 3D shades in December. Oh, and don't worry you're not just paying $225 for Gucci 3D glasses but your also paying for a better viewing experience (HA!) They come with a whole bunch of features that make them better than the average 3D glasses which are free. I buy the most frivolous of items and I don't even think I would buy these.

Wanna See A Fashion Show?!

NEW YORK CITY OCTOBER 21, 2010 – FUSION, when I say that word what image appears in your head? Is it a medley of colors swirling and spiraling through the air, or do you imagine the mix or foods that is the ever so popular Asian fusion? A group of students at LIM put their own twist on fusion, fashion fusion or a medley of fashion trends all rolled into one.
The students of LIM’s fashion show production class have put together a fashion show featuring their own application of what they have learned along with student models, student’s styles and even the students own wardrobes! Within the last semester these students have learned the fundamentals of how to put together and conduct a fashion show. Their new found knowledge consists of, but is not limited to, the history of the fashion show and the key players, the different jobs that result in a fully planned show, and the tools that each department needs to put on a successful show.
The theme, Fashion Fusion, was created when the students of the fashion show production class brainstormed different ideas. They realized that all could be incorporated into one interesting yet stylish show. The show is a direct reflection of what the students have learned about the industry via their wonderful professor Ionia Dun Lee, and the skills of working together. This is their final project so get them a good grade and provide a good turn out!
The fashion show will take place Tuesday November 2, 2010; 12 East 53rd Street between Madison and 5th Ave in New York City. The show starts promptly at 4:15pm, seating is on a first come first serve basis so be sure to get there early! The show is FREE and will be featuring raffles, free stuff and even free food! Custom Fabric Flowers will be providing complimentary fusion colored fabric flower pins as well. Many more surprises to come so do not miss it!

T.Swift 'Speak Now'

Taylor Swift's new album Speak Now is BEYOND WORDS. I don't know how she manages to speak to-correct me if I'm wrong-every girl in America and most other countries too. Even the prologue is 100% on point;
"I think most of us fear reaching the end of our life, and looking back regretting the moments we didn't speak up. When we didn't say 'I love you." When we should've said 'I'm sorry." When we didn't stand up for ourselves or someone who needed help."
If you've ever been hurt by friends, relationships, etc. OR if you've ever hurt someone this album will feel like she's speaking directly to you.
<3
p.s. In my current situation 'Mean' is the greatest song I've ever heard, especially when she says "But all you are is mean, all you are is mean. And a liar, and pathetic, and alone in life, and mean. But someday I'll be living in a big old city, and all you're ever gonna be is mean."

Laker's 2009-2010 Rings

For the record let me state that I've been a Kobe Laker's fan since forever. When his rape scandel happened I was in Junior High and changed my e-mail to Kobedidntdoit09 (which is still active, thank you very much) so I'm not one of those ban wagon fans that loves them just because they're the best. Though I will admit I hardly ever watch a game HA! Anyways, they were awarded their rings which were designed personally by Jason Arasheben CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills. Both the ceremony and the rings were unique to anything the NBA has ever done before, during the ceremony each player was given a chance to hold the mic and introduce the next player; and well the rings are a whole different story. Jason had this to say about the rings:
"With this particular ring, we were really successful in revolutionizing championship ring history," Arasheben said. "We've done something different that really, you've never seen on any championship ring in history. Each ring actually -- which is something you've never seen -- we've actually used the leather from the Game 7 ball that's incorporated in the underside of each an every ring. So every ring owner kind of gets to relive a piece of basketball history."
Furthermore, each players face is carved into the side of their ring which I can admit it a tad bit much. To watch a clip from the ceremony watch the video below :]

TEMPTU TEMP TATS!

My new latest obsession is Temptu temporary tattoos, I bought the Kat Von D ones and love them! They have so many more options other than the Kat Von D and the Dereon collaborations just go to Sephora.com and look! They cost 10$-25$ a box and come with way more than you see in the pictures. Not to mention they look so real! Whenever I have one on I always get someone who says, "Wow, I love your tattoo" OR "I never noticed that before on you". I know I'm super lame for being obsessed with temporary tattoos but I don't want to get a legit tattoo where it's noticeable so I can wear these for like a week and then change it up! LOVE IT.

Please Let Jimmy McMillan Become Governor

This is Jimmy McMillan who is running for governor of New York for the 'Rent is too Damn High' party. It was the Hofstra University Gubernatorial Debate that took place last week and it is 100% real. Below is a parody SNL did, and for the record I hope he wins because the rent in NYC really is too damn high.

LVMH Buys 15,016,000 Shares of Hermes!

Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) recently bought 15,016,000 shares of luxury brand Hermes. This means that LVMH now owns 14.2% of the company and LVMH is claiming that its goal is not to take over the company or to sit on its Board but instead to just be a part of the iconic brand. Hmm...there's just something about that that makes me think Hermes will sometime become a part of LVMH. Which really should come as no surprise seeing as how they own about a million other companies, such as;
Moet
Dom Perignon
Hennessy
Fendi
Donna Karan
Givenchy
Louis Vuitton
Marc Jacobs
Thomas Pink
Parfums Christian Dior
Tag Heuer
Sephora
ETC.
It's only a matter of time!
P.S. Hermes is pronounced. AIR-MEZ

Kanye West's Runaway "Film" *Updated*

Yes, this is over half an hour long and I have no clue what it's about but I'm watching it now and will update the post after!

Wow, it was epically amazing!! It follows a Phoenix (Selita Ebanks) who accidentally falls to earth and Kanye tries to help assimilate to modern culture. Kanye told MTV this about the short film:
"I make her my girlfriend, and people discriminate against her and eventually she has to burn herself alive and go back to her world. It's maybe a parallel to my career. I threw a Molotov cocktail on my career last year, in a way, and I had to come back as a better person."
It truly is an artistic work and I'm impressed that Kanye could do such a good job directing. All of the music from the film are featured on his upcoming album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Hello Kitty What??

Sanrio Hello Kitty makes wine, guns, sushi, tombstones, computers, toasters, scooters, wedding gowns, "adult toys", aquariums, deodorant...do I need to keep going? Well the newest addition to the Hello Kitty market is car wraps for the Smart Car! You can get the whole car wrapped for $1,700 or just the two door panels for $550. Craziness, but still the most outrageous Hello Kitty product I've seen would be the rifle.

T-Shirt Game

The B-duck tee is a crucial pickup.

Wal*Mart

So, I came home to FL. for the weekend and you know one of the first things I did was go to Wal*Mart for some everyday low prices. There's always something noteworthy happening at the discounter and so it wasn't really surprising to find a WWE magazing equipped with a FREE OFFICIAL WRISTBAND! Also, while waiting in the hour line to be rung up for my one item purchase of some Tampax my friend noticed that the guy in front of us not only had a ROACH STUCK TO HIS SOCK, but was also making quite an amusing and uncomfortable purchase. Peep the pics below.

It was a lot more apparent in person but was hard to capture on camera while trying to be inconspicuous. If you look closely the roach is on the bottom of the sandal under right hand side of the adidas logo.

Homeboy was buying Febreze, Lifestyles condoms, and Mistolin. Now, we didn't know what Mistolin was so we decided to look it up, Urban Dictionary classifies it as the following:
"A cheap tacky and smelly latin floor cleaner. Only women who where wooden shoes and those nightgowns called Moo-moos use this product. They can be found in most ghettos mopping the sidewalks with mistolin. The product is also used for laundry, dishes, babyformula, and to cure the common cold in most latin homes."
Yes, he was latin and yes, he was mighty uncomfortable.

WINTER STORMS

The new Burberry Winter Storms collection is fantasmic (fan-taz-mick). There's only one negative: I like the Menswear more than the Womenswear! Go HERE

HE THINKS HE'S FANCY.

Antoine Dobson arriving at LAX
Dear Antoine Dobson, I understand you think you're fancy after performing your "song" at the BET Hip-Hop Awards, taking home half of the earnings from its sales on iTunes (250k), and using the money to move your family out of the ghetto; however, please don't walk around squandering whatever cash you've mad thus far. You're 14 minutes and 30 seconds into your 15 minutes of fame and it would be a shame for you to waste your money by jet setting to Los Angeles and buying Kerin Rose sunglasses. "RUN AND TELL THAT."

To watch him brag in an interview with TMZ paparazzi go here!
SideNote: Am I the only one that thinks his sisters attempted rape (what made him famous) was all made up?! I mean they still haven't found the supposed 'bed intruder'

BEYONCE IS NOT PREGNANT!

Ignore the rumor's that Beyonce is pregnant because as you'll see tomorrow on Ellen Degeneres, Tina Knowles dispels the rumors and says they are simply untrue. Oh well, looks like the baby billionaire won't be born just yet...
