K-Dash by Kardashian for QVC to Debut at FNO

Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, and their mom are launching a new clothing and accessories line K-Dash by Kardashian that's going to be sold exclusively through QVC. K-Dash will be debuting as part of Fashion's Night Out on 9/10 live from Rockefeller Center in NYC. Price points range from $20-$240, you can see a glimpse of their clothing in the above pictures (minus the last one where they are wearing a customized FNO t-shirt).

This is actually a great concept but these shoes are too tacky. I don't really have any other words about them other than the fact that they remind me of those pants everyone used to wear in the early 00's. Ya'll know what I'm talking about, those pants that had like four different lengths to choose from. They went from pants, to capris, to bermudas, to short-shorts. HA!

The September issue for Vogue Italia was shot in 3D as well as the cover story aptly titled Miranda (after the muse Miranda Kerr). Who also happens to be pregnant with Orlando Blooms baby. LUCKY! Anyways, the issue comes with a special pair of 3D glasses. Blah, Blah, Blah, europe is cooler than US-pun intended. 

Paris arrested for cocaine.not suprising.

Last night in Las Vegas Paris Hilton was arrested for cocaine. Police pulled the car that she was riding in over because they were leaving a trail of marijuana smoke (HAHA) and they found cocaine in her bag. She's insisting it wasn't her purse even though she was the only female in the car.  Not much else to say. She's out on bail. The end.

 Clearly this is a publicity stunt but I figured I should put it up just in case its true which i doubt it is. Last night on Twitter Drake and Nicki Minaj announced they had gotten married. So, these are the new breast cancer awareness ads that the Breast Cancer Foundation just came out with. When I first saw them my reaction was "WTF" I mean it's an innovative concept and admittedly cool, but where are they going to place these? Clearly you can't just put this on a side of a bus or on a billboard because (as discussed in a previous post) most American's would be outraged.

So while on my daily look through of Gilt.com in hopes of finding some amazing deal; specifically Yoga wear for my membership at Pure East NYC I came across this. Now, WTF IS THIS?!?! I know with America's obesity numbers being out of control that more needs to be done to promote health at an early age but whose bright idea was this? What ever happened to kids playing outside and eating the right foods and limiting sweets? Hell, even take your kid to PLAY.MUSIC.LEARN where toddlers dance and play sports to promote health and FUN. But for heavens sake this exercise equipment for toddlers is absolutely ridiculous.

Brahmin in collab. with Vogue created this tote for FNO 2010. It's only 45$ and will be sold at Brahmin, Brahmin.com, and participating FNO stores beginning August 30 until whenever they sell out. Five dollars from each sale will be donated to the NYC AIDS Fund.  I think this bag is practical and fashionable especially since its for a good cause. I have to admit I prefer last years FNO graphic, but this one is still rockable. I WILL be buying this on August 30. Would it be cheesy to wear it on September 10? HAHA.

So apparently Lady GaGa has an alter ego whom she calls Jo Calderone. The pictures can be seen in the September issue of Vogue Homme Japan. She also gave an interview in-character here's an excerpt: 

Where are you from?

How would you describe what you do / your occupation?
Mechanic for my dad’s business. This is the first time I’ve had my picture taken.
When did you discover you wanted to do this?
Well, I always helped my dad at work, since I was a kid. I thought it would be fun to have my picture taken.
What are your ambitions?
I’d love to own my own car shop, I have a bunch of my own ‘muscle’ cars. Maybe if I take some more pictures I can afford it.
What is your relationship with Lady Gaga?
I met her at a shoot Nick Knight was doing. She’s fuckin beautiful, and funny, and interesting. I was a little nervous for Nick to start shooting. She said, “Don’t be baby, you were “born this way.” I took her out after. The rest is private :]

As you can see in my previous post about trends the 50's are going to be back this fall and that is where I drew my inspiration. But, of course I had to modernize it with a pair of boots from Raphael Young's Fall 2010 shoe collection which is amazing in its entirety.

Designer Park Sul-Nyeo's Underwater Hanbok Fashion Show in Seoul, Korea was part of the grand opening of a shopping mall. The models wore traditional Korean Hanbok and I'm guessing had a lot of practice.
