The latest issue in Vogue Italia has a spread inspiried by the current oil spill. Here in the states there has been a lot of criticism over the fact that they chose to model this spread after the BP oil spill. It's a matter of fact that European media pushes the envelope way more than we do here in America and really people just need to lighten up. They aren't making jokes about the spill in the spread; in fact they are doing just the opposite. The emotions that these pictures bring out are desperation, loss, and pain. The same emotions that have and are still being felt by those affected by the spill. All in all, I love the spread and think that we here in America need to lighten up.
