OFFICIAL VERIZON TO GET iPHONE!

It is all but CONFIRMED that Verizon will begin selling Apple iPhone's in early 2011. The rumors have been rolling around forever about Verizon getting the iPhone and it always turns out to be false; however, this time it's the real deal. The Wall Street Journal ran a report today claiming that Verizon will start mass producing a CDMA(no sim card) iPhone. This new iPhone would be similar in design to the iPhone 4 and would be available early in the first quarter of 2011. More evidence that the word on the street is true is when asked to comment on the Wall Street Journal report a Verizon executive replied,"I can't give you any insights, but I think Apple is the one that has to make that announcement." Which can be interpreted to mean that yes, it is in fact true he just can't comment on it.

Additionally, Apple is working on the next iPhone model and a source who is working closely with the new iPhone says the new iPhone will be, "a different form factor from those that are currently available."

I used to have Verizon and switched to AT&T specifically for the iPhone. It's simple Verizon is the best phone company and AT&T has the best phones. But, when rumors that the new iPhone 4 was less than spectacular and given that the white version isn't available until the END OF JULY, I decided to let my contract expire and have not yet resigned-WHICH IS PERFECT. Now, I can add back onto my Father's account at Verizon and receive their iPhone at the 2-year contract rate.
