Shelley Malil, the guy who played Haziz in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, stabbed his girlfriend Kendra Beebe TWENTY TIMES! Malil is currently on trial for his brutal actions and doesn't deny that he did so; however, he's claiming it was an accident. Long and ridiculous story short according to Malil he arrived at Beebe's place and saw her drinking wine with a friend David Maldonado. Malil went to whisper into Beebe's ear and stepped on her foot on accident so she screamed in pain which is when Malil began to feel threatened so he grabbed a knife. Maldonado and Malil got into a tussle over the knife and after a failed attempt to de-knife Malil, Maldonado ran out of the house. Malil then went into the kitchen to call 9-1-1 because he thought that Maldanado was going to get a gun BUT the phone was dead (HA!) so he upgraded from a regular knife to a butcher knife and ran after Maldonado outside. Once outside in the darkness Malil claims he felt something hit him on the head and he immediately began stabbing his attacker (thinking it was Maldanado). Somewhere within the twenty stabbings the victim was able utter out the words, "call 9-1-1" and then Malil realized it was HIS GIRLFRIEND he was stabbing.  Luckily she's alive and is going to testify against Malil at trial and if convicted he faces up to twenty-one years behind bars.
