If you've lived in the Brandon/Plant City area or are living in Arcadia, Florida you may very well know the star of this video, Mason Holland. During a game on the 13th at DeSoto High School Mason, who was the captain of the schools varsity team became upset at Jim Hamm a 51 year old referee for giving him a technical foul for shoving an opposing player who was bumping into him. After saying some words Hamm then ejected Mason from the game which resulted in Mason bumping the ref and then a halfway successful attempt at a body slam.
When an officer who was at the game interviewed Hamm about the incident Hamm told the deputy that he "did not want to see Mason get arrested and go to jail but did want to file a report/charges." Therefore, Mason is now facing a felony battery charge. SMH.
