See that Christmas tree? Looks pretty normal right...WRONG! The picture above is of the $11 MILLION dollar christmas tree located in the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi (Sex and the City 2). The tree itself cost only about $10K, it's the 181 diamonds, pearls, emeralds, sapphires, and other precious stones that make it worth OVER $11MILLION. 

This isn't the first overly priced scheme for the hotel either. It's also home to the world's first gold ATM, and is the first place outside of Germany that has installed a Gold-to-Go aka a vending machine that sells gold!
