CARNIVAL CRUISE SHIP STRANDED *UPDATED*

Great, the next time I take a cruise I'm going to be terrified. For three days passengers onboard the Carnival Splendor have been stranded at sea! An onboard fire knocked out the ships engines and hotel systems including air conditioning, hot food preparation, refrigeration, and telephones. For a day the toilets weren't even working! Earlier today the Navy airlifted 4,500 pounds worth of supplies and food to the ship. What's more hilarious is that a "tug boat" is slowly pulling the ship to San Diego and with more help expected to arrive the ship should arrive late Thursday. I bet those passengers are livid but I also expect them to get a bunch of free cruises so maybe it's worth it.

*NOT ONLY WAS THE SHIP BEING TOWED BY TUGBOATS THEY WERE MEXICAN TUGBOATS...LIKE FROM MEXICO. THE SHIP ARRIVED IN SAN DIEGO EARLIER TODAY. AND THE PASSENGERS ARE GETTING A REFUND ON THE CRUISE AND ARE GETTING A FREE CRUISE OF EQUAL/LESSER VALUE.*

50 CENT=OUT OF CONTROL

If you haven't been keeping up with the latest ridiculousness in the celebrity world, you've missed out. While millions of people are starving every day because they can't afford food, 50 Cent has been busy updating his twitter with pictures of him playing around with a measly $500,000 dollars. Because, apparently his name "50 Cent" is just a facade for some multi-million dollar empire. Now, he's taken his self promoting even farther and made a video with the famous Katy Perry lip-singer Kennan Cahill!  (CLICK HERE for his YouTube page). I just really want to know how the phone call between 50 and Keenan went, when he was setting up this rendezvous.

A couple weeks ago I did a post on Gucci's new 3D glasses and now Oakley, Calvin Klein, and Armani Exchange have hitched onto the trend are are making their own. Oakley's are available for $120 and in December, Klein's will be available for $180. Armani's aviator 3D shades are only $58 and should be available by the end of the year (for you illogical people this means by January). Not gonna lie, I'll probably end up buying the Armani Exchange's, just because they're only $58 and my neighbor has a 3D t.v.

     Faces of Meth is a project by the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office that documented the affect of Meth on people who were arrested. Clearly kids, unless you want to look like the after appearance in any of these pictures, stay away from drugs.
     Moving on to another issue, when I was showing this to a friend she said, "Well at least that girl lost weight." Hmm...the only thing I can say to that is that there is an easier, more cost effective and LEGAL way to lose weight-EAT LESS, EXERCISE MORE! While I understand that drugs are a quick way to lose weight, understand chances are you will develop a life long addiction and there is a huge chance you will be arrested. There is no glamorous side to being addicted to drugs.

Backstreet Boys Reunite on Oprah

On the Get Gabbed Facebook page I wrote about how the Backstreet Boys' performance on Oprah didn't warrant a full post because it was horrible, but then I came to the realization that the only reason it warranted a post was BECAUSE it's the worst garbage I've ever heard. They all came together to sing I Want it that Way and to announce that they've reunited...too bad that after watching this performance no ones going to want to go watch them. N*Sync was always my favorite anyways and the Backstreet Boy's just need to give it up and find a real career.

BETS ON WHEN WEEZY WILL BE BACK IN JAIL?

Weezy last night at Drakes concert in Las Vegas.

Now, that Wayne has been released from Rikers his probation sentence stemming from his case in Arizona has started. TMZ broke the news that as a part of his probation that went into affect today:

Weezy "may not consume or drink any substance containing alcohol" for the next 3 YEARS.

He's prohibited from knowingly associating with any person engaged in criminal activity or any person with a criminal record without prior written approval from the probation department. AKA EVERY PERSON HE'S AFFILIATED WITH.

He can't posses illegal drugs, toxix vapors, or controlled substances.

He's required to submit to drug and alcohol testing.

WHEN If he violates any terms of his probation he'll be sent back to the big house.

So, basically he's going to end up back in jail in no time. Just look at T.I. who's back in prison already for another year.
