Seriously?

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT A JOKE ALL EQUIPMENT PICTURED IS 100% REAL AND FOR TODDLERS TO EXERCISE WITH. DEAD SERIOUS. GO TO GILT.COM AND SEE FOR YOURSELF.

So while on my daily look through of Gilt.com in hopes of finding some amazing deal; specifically Yoga wear for my membership at Pure East NYC I came across this. Now, WTF IS THIS?!?! I know with America's obesity numbers being out of control that more needs to be done to promote health at an early age but whose bright idea was this? What ever happened to kids playing outside and eating the right foods and limiting sweets? Hell, even take your kid to PLAY.MUSIC.LEARN where toddlers dance and play sports to promote health and FUN. But for heavens sake this exercise equipment for toddlers is absolutely ridiculous.

from left to right/ top to bottom the equipment is named: Air Walker, Happy Bike, Treadmill, and Weight Bench.

MUST HAVE.

Photo and Story Jacked from: BRADENTON

Brahmin in collab. with Vogue created this tote for FNO 2010. It's only 45$ and will be sold at Brahmin, Brahmin.com, and participating FNO stores beginning August 30 until whenever they sell out. Five dollars from each sale will be donated to the NYC AIDS Fund.  I think this bag is practical and fashionable especially since its for a good cause. I have to admit I prefer last years FNO graphic, but this one is still rockable. I WILL be buying this on August 30. Would it be cheesy to wear it on September 10? HAHA.

LIMITED EDITION PAIN.

Tipped of from: the life files Photos Jacked from: CYNTHIA ROWLEY

These exclusive limited edition band-aids from Cynthia Rowley are 10$. For every purchase 1$ will be donated to Design Ignites Change, an organization that supports high school and college students in design and architecture. You know I gotta stunt in every situation so imma def' have to cop these.

Lady GaGa Debuts Alter-Ego in Vogue Homme Japan

Images jacked from Vogue Homme Japan

So apparently Lady GaGa has an alter ego whom she calls Jo Calderone. The pictures can be seen in the September issue of Vogue Homme Japan. She also gave an interview in-character here's an excerpt:
Where are you from?
Palermo, Sicily
How would you describe what you do / your occupation?
Mechanic for my dad’s business. This is the first time I’ve had my picture taken.
When did you discover you wanted to do this?
Well, I always helped my dad at work, since I was a kid. I thought it would be fun to have my picture taken.
What are your ambitions?
I’d love to own my own car shop, I have a bunch of my own ‘muscle’ cars. Maybe if I take some more pictures I can afford it.
What is your relationship with Lady Gaga?
I met her at a shoot Nick Knight was doing. She’s fuckin beautiful, and funny, and interesting. I was a little nervous for Nick to start shooting. She said, “Don’t be baby, you were “born this way.” I took her out after. The rest is private :]

Personally, I find the whole thing to be on the creep tip of life but whatever floats ya' boat.

what would YOU wear?

Model Andreea Diaconu fall 2010 Dolce & Gabbana Dress

Carven Camel Coat

Raphael Young boots from Fall 2010

Chanel 2.55 in black

Stylelist.com is hosting a contest to win Fashion Week tickets. To enter you have to tell them what you would wear to a show if you were to go. Here are my picks! As you can see in my previous post about trends the 50's are going to be back this fall and that is where I drew my inspiration. But, of course I had to modernize it with a pair of boots from Raphael Young's Fall 2010 shoe collection which is amazing in its entirety.

To See the Rest of the Show Go Here: economic times

Designer Park Sul-Nyeo's Underwater Hanbok Fashion Show in Seoul, Korea was part of the grand opening of a shopping mall. The models wore traditional Korean Hanbok and I'm guessing had a lot of practice.
