Kobe's $100K Phrase

Kobe Bryant was fined $100,000 by the NBA after he was captured on film referring to a referee as a "fucking faggot" during a game. Every gay, lesbian, and transgender group called for action and so the NBA issued the fine. Kobe has already said he's appealing the fine but did issue a makeshift apology; stating,

"My actions were out of frusteration during the heat of the game, period. The words expressed do NOT reflect my feelings towards they gay and lesbian community and were NOT meant to offend anyone."

I mean $100K is a bit steep in my opinion.
